What is digital leadership?
Digital leadership goes beyond merely using technology. It’s about the ability to navigate effectively in a rapidly changing society, recognize opportunities, and provide direction for your organization. It requires vision, but also connection: how do you engage colleagues, build bridges with partners, and inspire audiences and stakeholders?
In the cultural sector, digital leadership means not only developing the internal organization but also contributing to the digital renewal of the sector as a whole.
The digital leadership test
To support directors and managers in this, DEN and InJoin developed the digital leadership test. This test provides insights into:
- Your personal profile as a digital leader.
- Which skills you already excel in.
- Which competencies you can further develop.
- How you can guide your organization and employees through digital transformation.
The test is specifically designed for the cultural sector and focuses on knowledge, skills, and attitudes essential for making an impact as a leader.
How this test helps you
The test helps you steer more consciously on your own development as a leader énd that of your organization. You’ll discover:
- What digital leadership entails and how it differs from traditional leadership.
- Which roles and competencies are crucial for digital transformation.
- How you score on these different roles.
- Concrete advice on how you can strengthen your leadership qualities.
In the article "What is your digital leadership style?” (opens in new tab) we explain which leadership roles are important in a digital context and how you as a leader can make an impact.
Based on research énd practice
The test was developed by the DEN Academy in collaboration with InJoin (opens in new tab). Its foundation lies in current literature and research on (digital) leadership, but just as important: we’ve tested the theory in practice.
With years of experience in guiding directors and senior managers in the program (opens in new tab)Digital Leadership (opens in new tab), we know what leaders in the cultural sector really face. The test therefore directly aligns with practice and provides results you can immediately work with.
Ready for the next step?
The future of the cultural sector is digital énd human-centered. Digital leadership helps you bring these two worlds together and make your organization future-proof.
