At DEN, we have been committed to a strong, agile cultural sector for 25 years. We help cultural organizations and professionals work with a future-oriented perspective, focusing on technology and audience development. Despite all the digital developments, one thing remains central: the power of culture, by everyone and for everyone. We are happy to contribute to this, together with you.
What will you do?
As an advisor, you combine substantive expertise in business administration, data, and digital with a hands-on approach. You work with a team of advisors, trainers, and researchers on projects, knowledge products, and events that help organizations become more digitally agile and remain relevant to their audiences. Your tasks include:
- translating digital challenges within cultural organizations into innovative projects that inspire the cultural sector and encourage the adoption of a digital strategy;
- advising organizations on digital strategy, making an impact with data, and data-driven working;
- designing workshops and training sessions that help the field grow in digital transformation in an accessible and relevant way;
- writing articles and developing tools and other knowledge products for the sector.

This is you!
You are energized by translating digital developments into practical value for cultural organizations. You can switch between strategy and execution and know how to clearly convey complex matters. Additionally, you bring:
- a solid foundation in business administration with a clear focus on digitization and data;
- experience in advising and guiding organizations, translating strategy into concrete steps;
- experience in designing and facilitating workshops, training sessions, and events;
- experience in writing articles and developing tools or knowledge products;
- interest in digital applications within the cultural sector, such as online audience experiences, digital collections, social media, immersive media, and more;
- higher professional/academic working and thinking level, obtained through education or work experience, and the curiosity to continue developing yourself.
What do we offer you?
- Salary between €3,700 and €5,000 (based on 40 hours CAO-OI), depending on experience.
- Work-life balance: we offer 338 leave hours for a full-time position. Read that again: we offer nearly 8.5 weeks of leave annually.
- In addition to the holiday allowance of 8%, an end-of-year bonus of 8.33%, and an excellent pension scheme.
- At least 3.5% of the wage bill is reserved for training and job-related development.
- A warm, open work culture in an engaged, growing team of about 25 colleagues.
And of course: the now-legendary (vegan) summer barbecue and Christmas pub quiz. We also occasionally take each other to our favorite exhibitions, concerts, etc.
Excited?
DEN welcomes candidates with diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences. We believe that a diverse team is essential to strengthen the cultural sector and enable innovation. Even if you have experience outside the cultural sector or bring a background not yet represented in our team, we encourage you to apply. Do you see yourself in this role? Even if you don’t check all the boxes, we would love to hear from you. Are you the talent we are looking for?
