What is Process Optimization?

Process optimization is the improvement of a process to work more efficiently. In our digital society, we often collaborate remotely on projects. In a team of professionals from various disciplines, departments, and with freelancers or other institutions as co-producers. Make your organization agile by facilitating this with digital process optimization.

Innovative Work, What Should I Think About?

Innovative work is a combination of new thinking and working methods and the implementation of digital technologies. With new working methods, you train employees to respond differently to changes. You use digital technologies to facilitate this. Together, innovative work and process optimization lay the foundation for digital transformation.

Start with Process Optimization

Digital transformation requires attention. Attention to proper use of ICT technology and to skills for collaborating in new ways. The combination of attention to information management and innovative working methods forms the foundation of process optimization.

Along the way, you may encounter questions such as: How can your institution collaborate better? What should you consider when setting up the ICT configuration or working in a cloud? DEN helps you with this. So your institution is ready for the future.

Examples of Process Optimization

Dance companies such as NDT (Netherlands Dance Theater) and the Dutch National Opera and Ballet have made such professionalization strides. They started by digitizing AV materials to store them in an image bank and collection management system. ICK Dance Amsterdam and Scapino Ballet are also working on a well-organized system for their AV registrations.

In the dance world, where performances are often re-staged, these digital registrations often form the primary record of the various choreographies. They serve as an initial resource for dancers and rehearsal directors to restage the works. But the marketing department also benefits greatly from such a digital database for finding, editing, developing, and managing their own materials that can be used for promotional materials such as teasers.

Accelerate your work process with an accessible digital system

With an accessible digital system, you’ll never have to endure long searches for old documents or materials again. It significantly speeds up the work process. And by making prior agreements and registering usage rights in the system, the material becomes immediately available for reuse by and for a broader audience.
